This project formed part of the wider regeneration of the former Winstanley Estate, delivering 126 new residential units as part of a significant mixed-use redevelopment programme.
Skyler was appointed to deliver a high-performance roofing and waterproofing package across the development.
The main roof areas were completed in a bituminous hot melt waterproofing system, providing a robust, seamless solution suitable for large-scale residential projects. Finishes used were a combination of green roof and ballast, enhancing sustainable drainage performance, improving thermal efficiency, and contributing to biodiversity objectives.
A cold-applied liquid system was installed on the balcony areas, delivering a seamless and highly adaptable solution for complex detailing and constrained interfaces. These were finished with porcelain tiles mounted on a non-combustible pedestal system, providing a durable, low-maintenance, and visually high-quality external finish.
The completed works deliver excellent technical performance with enhanced environmental and architectural outcomes.
